Dallas-based IP law and business litigation firm gains additional expertise to manage growing practice
Dallas, TX -- The Law Offices of Stephen A. Kennedy, PC (Kennedy Law) has expanded its practice with the addition of attorneys Steven E. Clark and Steven N. Williams and launched a new firm – Kennedy, Clark & Williams, PC (KCW). KCW will continue its focus on the practice areas of intellectual property, commercial law, business litigation and employment law by offering clients the highest quality of legal services along with flexible billing options to be responsive to various client needs.

Clark and Williams are shareholders in the new firm. In addition, Kennedy, Clark & Williams, PC, now includes Associates Zac Duffy, Renee C. Summers and Thomas Gallagher. Combined, the firm has more than 80 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, including patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret and other intellectual property litigation, employment law, and general business litigation.
Clark concentrates his practice on business and commercial litigation, construction, employment law, products liability and general civil litigation. His clients include a prominent international construction company, small businesses and individuals. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree with honors from the University of Houston and also received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston. He is well-published and has spoken on various topics ranging from choice of entities in forming businesses to covenants not to compete and employment law issues.
Williams focuses his practice on patent and other intellectual property litigation and has represented clients, including telecom equipment manufacturers, semiconductor manufacturers, electronics companies, pharmaceutical companies, building materials manufacturers, consumer product companies and financial service companies. While appearing before courts throughout the country, Williams practices extensively in the Eastern District of Texas. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Southern Methodist University and received his bachelor’s degree with honors from Baylor University.
Kennedy has represented regional, national and international clients involving medical devices, lasers, semiconductors, photography equipment and chemical compounds. Kennedy centers his practice on intellectual property and commercial law. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from University of Toledo College of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
