Friday, September 21, 2007

Troy, MI -- Patent attorneys Jake Grove and Rick Hoffmann are on the recently issued 2007 Michigan Super Lawyers list. Both Grove and Hoffmann work at the intellectual property law firm of Reising, Ethington, Barnes, Kisselle, P.C.

Published by Law & Politics, and distributed in the New York Times and many other publications, the Super Lawyers' list identifies the top 5 percent of attorneys in each state, as chosen by their peers.

The objective of the Super Lawyers selection process is to create a credible listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used to assist attorneys and consumers in the search for legal counsel. Factors considered in evaluating candidates include verdicts and settlements, transactions, representative clients, experience, honors and awards, special licenses and certifications, position within law firm, bar and or other professional activity, pro bono and community service, scholarly lectures and writings, education and employment background, and other outstanding achievements.

Headquartered in Troy, Michigan, Reising, Ethington, Barnes, Kisselle is one of the oldest intellectual property law firms in Michigan. Since 1865, Reising Ethington has specialized solely in the practice of intellectual property law. Reising Ethington represents some of the largest corporations on the planet, and it has represented many individuals -- like Henry Ford, Ransom Olds, and David Buick.
