Tuesday, October 02, 2007

Patented Technology Significantly Enhances Effectiveness in Addressing China's Anti-Counterfeit Markets

Hainan, China -- Shiner International, Inc. (OTCBB: SHNL) (website: www.shinerinc.com), a market leader in China's anti-counterfeit plastic films industry, announces key patent approval for its coated plastic films and related manufacturing process. The patent under patent No. ZL200510075370.2 is the first of such plastic films technology that has been approved by the China Patent Office.

The patent protection is valid for 20 years from year 2007.

Mr. Jian Fu, CEO of Shiner International, commented: "With this key patent approval, Shiner International sets China's national standard for coated films utilized in food packaging as well as anti-counterfeit plastic film manufacturing. As China's national leader in anti-counterfeit plastic films, Shiner stands to benefit directly from premium liquor and cigarette manufacturers which suffer billions of dollars each year in loss revenues due to rampant product counterfeit problems across China. We expect deeper market penetration and increased sales to existing and new customers as a result of this key patent approval."
