Prominent Patent Litigator Robert A. Schroeder Joins Sheldon Mak Rose & Anderson

Pasadena, CA – Sheldon Mak Rose & Anderson PC, an intellectual property law firm, announced that leading patent litigator Robert A. Schroeder has joined the firm. Mr. Schroeder was a partner and Practice Group Leader for intellectual property litigation at Bingham McCutchen; prior to that, he founded the boutique intellectual property law firm Pretty & Schroeder.

With more than 30 years experience specializing in IP law, Mr. Schroeder has been lead counsel in patent cases, as well as trade secret, trademark, copyright, unfair competition and trade dress cases. He has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court, and has handled IP arbitrations before domestic and international tribunals. He has been a speaker at the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Licensing Executives Society, the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association and the Practicing Law Institute.
Mr. Schroeder began his career as a patent examiner assigned to the Physics Group at the United States Patent Office. Mr. Schroeder received his J.D. from Cornell Law School and his B.S. in Engineering and Management from Clarkson University. He is admitted to practice in California, before the US Patent and Trademark Office, and the United States District Courts of Northern Illinois, Arizona, and Connecticut.
