AirDefense Receives Allowance of 6th Patent for Wireless Intrusion Prevention

With five granted/allowed patents, a sixth patent allowed and twenty-one patents pending, AirDefense owns dominant patents in the area of wireless intrusion prevention and wireless troubleshooting.
AirDefense’s sixth patent titled "Systems and methods for automated network policy exception detection and correction," covers the automated detection of one or more wireless network policy violations and enforcement of such policies. This patent bolsters AirDefense in areas such as wireless policy monitoring, reporting and compliance, such as PCI Compliance in the retail industry.
