New patent adds features to radio technology that puts consumers in charge of how, where and when they listen to their favorite content
Boulder, CO -- 3D Radio LLC, a leader in technology designed to revolutionize radio listening, received its second patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Patent No. 7,343,141, Concurrent content capturing radio systems and methods, builds on 3D Radio’s radio recording technology. 3D Radio has developed technology that lets users pause, rewind, skip forward, save and replay radio across multiple stations on any radio source – AM/FM, HD, satellite, Wi-Fi and any new media as they are developed. It is available for in-vehicle, handheld mobile and home use.
"This new intellectual property is a great addition to 3D Radio’s patent portfolio," said Caron Ellis, co-founder and president of the Boulder, Colo.-based company. "We believe 3D Radio will enhance the future of radio by integrating content -- news, talk, sports and music – from different sources and giving consumers greater control over their radio listening choices."
