Fay Sharpe Names Three New Partners

Cleveland, OH -- Fay Sharpe LLP (www.FaySharpe.com), a Cleveland law firm focused on intellectual property law, has named Matthew P. Dugan, Eric M. Highman and John S. Zanghi partners to the firm.

Matt Dugan, who joined Fay Sharpe in 2001, is a 1992 graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He earned his law degree in 2000 from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Dugan specializes in patent preparation, prosecution and counseling with an emphasis on fluid and mechanical power transmission systems, automation technologies and the manufacturing process.

As an attorney with the firm for more than three years, Eric Highman’s electrical engineering background has provided a specialization in patent preparation, prosecution and validity opinions in areas including semiconductor fabrication technology, microprocessor based electrical systems and communication systems. Highman is a graduate of Cleveland State University, earning a B.S. (1986) and an M.S. (1991) in Electrical Engineering. He received a J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1997.

John Zanghi, who came to Fay Sharpe in 2002 as a result of the firm’s merger with Vickers, Daniels & Young, attained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University in 1988. He graduated cum laude with his law degree in 1995 from the University of Akron. Zanghi specializes in all phases of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on patent preparation, prosecution and litigation in the electrical and mechanical arts.
