New Addition to Drinker Biddle’s IP Practice in Chicago

Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP announced today the addition of Mark Bergner as an associate in the intellectual property group’s patent practice. Bergner is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patents & Trademarks Office. He is based in the firm’s Chicago office and joins the current team there of six patent attorneys, two patent agents and two patent paralegals.

Bergner joins the firm from Schiff Hardin LLP in Chicago. He had previously worked at Hill & Simpson, and began his career as a senior electrical engineer at Boeing (formerly McDonnell Douglas) in St. Louis. Following a B.S. in electrical engineering summa cum laude and an M.A. in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Missouri, Bergner earned his J.D. in 1999 from St. Louis University.
