Smith Micro Software Receives Patent Grant for System and Method for Mobile Network Management

Las Vegas, NV -- Smith Micro Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMSI), a leading developer and marketer of software solutions and services for the wireless market, today announced it has received a Notice of Allowance from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for a patent on technology that enables management of computer systems and network infrastructure from handheld mobile devices. This patent, USPTO #7,349,957, helps to expand Smith Micro’s growing IP portfolio of technologies, enabling cutting-edge mobility solutions.

This patented technology provides a network or systems administrator with the ability to securely manage enterprise infrastructure in real-time, from anywhere.
