Morris, Manning & Martin Expands

Adds Four Senior Lawyers and Opens a New Office

Atlanta, GA – Morris, Manning & Martin has added four senior lawyers, three partners and one of-counsel; two will be located in the firm’s rapidly developing Washington, D.C. office, one in Atlanta, and one in Savannah.

Ping Wang, M.D. and Christopher W. Raimund join the firm’s Washington D.C. office as partners, expanding the firm’s Intellectual Property group. Dr. Wang, who will lead the firm’s Biotechnology IP practice, was most recently at DLA Piper. Mr. Raimund, who will lead the firm’s Chemical IP practice, comes from the Washington, D.C. office of Merchant & Gould, P.C.

Joseph R. "Rusty" Ross, a highly regarded healthcare lawyer, expands the firm’s presence to Savannah. He was previously Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Memorial Health University Medical Center. In addition to joining the firm’s healthcare practice, Mr. Ross, a partner, will also practice with the firm’s Real Estate group.

M. Allison Gould, who spent 21 years as in-house counsel for Fannie Mae, joins the Commercial Real Estate Lending Group in the firm’s Atlanta headquarters. She was most recently Vice President and Assistant General Counsel in the Atlanta office of CWCapital, LLC, a Fannie Mae Delegated Underwriting and Servicing (DUS™) lender.
