AutoGenomics Receives a Key European Patent for HPV Detection

Carlsbad, CA -- AutoGenomics, a leader in providing automated, molecular testing solutions, announced today that it has been issued a key European patent for Human papillomavirus. Patent No.1 499 749 B1, "Human papillomavirus Detection with DNA Microarray," claims to be a method for detecting the presence of HPV using a microarray.

"This patent is the result of our collaboration with Dr. Erik Thunnissen, a prominent clinician and opinion leader in the field of Human papillomavirus," said Mr. Fareed Kureshy, President and CEO of AutoGenomics.
