Drinker Biddle Partner Robert Cannuscio Elected Secretary of PIPLA Board

Philadelphia, PA -- Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP partner Robert Cannuscio has been elected to serve a one-year term as secretary to the board of governors of the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association (PIPLA). PIPLA was established in 1923 to promote the development and administration of the U.S. patent, trademark and copyright laws, to advance high standards of professional ethics, and to provide an environment for developing professional relationships and encouraging interchange between individuals practicing in the intellectual property law field. PIPLA is one of the oldest legal bar associations directed specifically to the practice of intellectual property law. Cannuscio, chair of Drinker Biddle’s Mechanical Patent Practice Team, previously served on PIPLA’s board of governors from 2005-2007. As secretary, Cannuscio will be responsible for keeping records of the proceedings of all meetings of PIPLA and its board, including all referendum votes, for maintaining the PIPLA’s membership roll, schedule of meetings and coordination of elections.
