Nils Victor Montan and Feikje van Rein Broaden IP Consulting Expertise of Robin Rolfe Resources

Fort Lee, NJ -- Nils Victor Montan and Feikje van Rein have joined the law management consulting practice of Robin Rolfe Resources. Both Mr. Montan and Ms. van Rein have strong ties to the intellectual property law community.

Nils and Feikje bring exceptional hands-on experience that will be add breadth and depth to our already considerable expertise in addressing the needs of all types of international IP practices, ranging from in-house law departments, law firms, IP boutiques to service providers and associations.

Nils Victor Montan joins as a Senior Consultant, bringing 30 years of experience in IP management and leadership, including as VP and Senior IP Counsel for Warner Bros. and as a law firm partner. In addition, he has been extremely active in IP community organizations. Mr. Montan is a past president of International Trademark Association (INTA). He also served as the elected chairman of the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition (IACC) and later as its full-time CEO from 2006 to May 2008. Currently, Mr. Montan chairs the Board of Advisors of the Authentics Foundation, an international organization dedicated to raising public awareness of counterfeits.

Mr. Montan has testified before the US Congress in support of IP legislation, given presentations at industry, bar and government conferences throughout the world and taught law school classes as adjunct professor at Loyola University School of Law, UCLA and USC. He is the author of numerous published articles and a book, titled, Trademark Counterfeiting in Asia and the Pacific Rim, published by INTA.

Mr. Montan received his JD with honors from the Washington College of Law of the American University and an LLM from the University of Virginia. He holds a BS in Psychology from Cornell University and an MS in Forensic Psychology from George Washington University.

Feikje van Rein is a Special Consultant at Robin Rolfe Resources with a particular focus on assisting clients with the implementation of their marketing objectives through the presentation of educational programs, public speaking engagements, conference attendance, hospitality and entertainment activities, sponsorships, exhibits and advertising.

With both internal operations and events planning and logistics experience, she was Director of Operations & Meetings of the International Trademark Association (INTA) for 10 years. She was responsible for the Association's operating and database systems, strategic operating plan, all conferences and meetings, including long distance learning, and the IT, Customer Service and Meetings Departments.

Her experience includes organizing and running US and international programs and events for 10 to 7000 participants. Ms. van Rein is a Certified Meetings Professional (CMP) and a member of the Professional Convention Management Association. She is a graduate of the Institute of the International Hospitality Management in The Netherlands and the Meetings and Conference Management program of New York University. Besides English and her mother tongue Dutch, Ms. van Rein speaks Italian, German, French, Spanish and Indonesian (Bahasa, Indonesia).
