Ava Billimoria Joins Rader, Fishman & Grauer in Bloomfield Hills as Associate

Bloomfield Hills, MI – Ava Billimoria has joined the Bloomfield Hills office of Rader, Fishman & Grauer PLLC, a leading national intellectual property law firm, as an associate. Rader, Fishman & Grauer develops strategies for maximizing the value of intellectual assets including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. Clients range from multinational corporations to emerging enterprises.
Prior to joining Rader, Fishman & Grauer, Billimoria worked as a development engineer at an automotive OEM, where she conducted climatic wind tunnel testing and drive simulations for prototype and production level vehicles to identify performance issues. She also spent two years at a Tier 1 supplier as a design engineer in the area of automotive HVAC and engine cooling. In addition, Billimoria served as an intern for the Honorable Judge Robert H. Cleland and the Honorable Avern Cohn, both of the Eastern District of Michigan.
Billimoria is a member of the Michigan State Bar, the Oakland County Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association.
Billimoria holds a B.S.M.E. from Kettering University (formerly GMI Engineering and Management Institute) and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School where she graduated in the top quarter of her class. While at Wayne State, she received the Ida and Benjamin Alpert Scholarship and was an Articles Editor for the Journal of Law in Society.
Billimoria was born in Hillsdale, IL and is currently residing in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
