William Dippert Joins Eckert Seamans’ White Plains Office

Bolsters IP Practice in New York
White Plains, NY -- The national law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC recently announced that it has bolstered its intellectual property (IP) practice in White Plains with the addition of attorney William H. Dippert as a Member.
"Bill brings with him a wealth of experience and some unique capabilities to our White Plains office," said Steven R. Kramer, Member-in-Charge of Eckert Seamans’ White Plains office. "One of his key strengths is his comprehensive understanding of the needs of medical device and pharmaceutical firms during major transactions."
Mr. Dippert, with over 31 years’ experience in the profession, concentrates his practice in the area of intellectual property, advising clients on IP issues for start-ups, initial public offerings, private placements, financings and restructurings. He has extensive experience in U.S. and international patent prosecution, patent and trademark litigation, licensing and counseling, and representation in due diligence investigations and other transactional matters. He has particular experience with firms in the medical device, pharmaceutical, polymer and electronics industries. He had previously served clients at WolfBlock, Reed Smith and at Cowan Liebowitz & Latman.
"The IP practice at Eckert Seamans has grown significantly across several of the firm’s offices in recent years," said David V. Radack, who chairs the firm’s Intellectual Property Department. "With the addition of Bill to our White Plains office, the firm is even better positioned to provide clients with the highest-quality IP counsel and service at both the national and international levels.
He earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School and his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Dippert is licensed to practice in New York and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of International Trade, the US. Court of Appeals for the Second and Federal Circuits, and the U.S. District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.
