Porzio Bromberg & Newman Joins with Mathews, Shepherd, McKay & Bruneau

Morristown, NJ -- Porzio, Bromberg & Newman P.C., and Mathews, Shepherd, McKay & Bruneau, P.C. jointly announced today that their law firms are merging, effective February 1. The name of the combined firm will remain Porzio, Bromberg & Newman P.C.

The Mathews Shepherd firm is an intellectual property boutique. Their national and international practice encompasses all areas of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, e-commerce, trade secrets, licensing, interference practice and related litigation. Six lawyers from Mathews Shepherd will continue to practice from their Princeton office, including three partners - Robert G. Shepherd, Diane Dunn McKay and Brooks R. Bruneau who will be principals. In addition, Carole E. DeNatale and Cynthia Soumoff will be of counsel, and Todd A. Denys, counsel.

Porzio Bromberg & Newman, with offices in Morristown, New York City and Brick, New Jersey, is a firm of 90 lawyers that represents both businesses and individuals across a wide variety of practice areas.
