Aerielle Receives Patent for Pioneering i2i Stream Functionality

Mountain View, CA -- Aerielle, Inc., developers of advanced wireless audio solutions, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted the company Utility Patent, # 7,474,757 for a technology used in Aerielle's flagship product, the i2i Stream. The i2i Stream currently utilizes the patented circuit and method to aid in offering users a power-saving, audio-responsive device.
The i2i Stream's ability to wirelessly stream better-than-CD audio sound from a vast array of media sources and broadcast audio in a 30 foot plus radius is further enhanced by Aerielle's patented design. The circuit helps lessen the battery consumption of the Stream, while making it more effective and dependable for consumer usage.
"Obtaining the intellectual property for this technology follows Aerielle's tradition of breaking new ground to bring consumers superior products such as the i2i Stream," said Art Cohen, President and CEO of Aerielle. Aerielle's technology aids in maximizing the efficiency and availability of the primary power within the i2i Stream. The technology capabilities learned from the patent activates the i2i Stream when in the presence of a stimuli, such as an audio signal.
Features of the Utility Patent include:
- Modulates audio signals from an audio source and sends them to the i2i Stream
- Prolongs the battery life while reducing consumption
- Reduces background noise generated by the electrical circuits within the Stream
- Auto-on capability efficiently activates a device when in the presence of an audio signal
- Auto-off capability switches off a device when not in use
The Utility Patent and method is also recognized in the following countries: Austria, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Luxembourg, and Switzerland.
