Jonathan K. Waldrop Joins Sutherland’s Intellectual Property Practice

Atlanta, GA – Sutherland announces that Jonathan K. Waldrop has joined the firm as an associate in its Intellectual Property Practice Group, resident in the Atlanta, Georgia, office. Mr. Waldrop will focus his practice on patent litigation.
"We welcome Jon to the firm," said Peter G. Pappas, Intellectual Property Practice Group Leader. "His substantial trial experience and engineering background will support our thriving patent litigation practice."
Mr. Waldrop earned his juris doctor in 2000 from the University of Virginia, where he served as Notes Editor of the Virginia Journal of Law & Politics and was active in the Black Law Students Association. He received a bachelor of science degree, with honors, in mechanical engineering and materials science from Harvard University in 1997. Previous to joining Sutherland, Mr. Waldrop worked at Greenberg Traurig and also previously practiced at Kilpatrick Stockton and at Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson.
