Erik Oliver is Named Managing Director of ThinkFire’s West Coast Office

Mountain View, CA -- ThinkFire, Inc., a leading intellectual property advisory, brokerage and licensing firm, announced today that Erik Oliver has been named Managing Director of its West Coast office in Mountain View.
"Erik has been instrumental in several hundred million dollars of patent and technology licensees," said Kent Richardson, ThinkFire Executive Vice President and General Manager of Silicon Valley. "He brings more than ten years of licensing, litigation, and patent prosecution experience to us. ThinkFire also benefits significantly from Erik's IP strategy and operations expertise."
Prior to joining ThinkFire, Mr. Oliver held the title of Director of Patent Development at Rambus Inc. (Nasdaq: RMBS). At Rambus, Mr. Oliver was responsible for managing the development of the Rambus patent portfolio. He has also held licensing and patent development positions at Synopsys, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNPS), and a number of Silicon Valley startups. Prior to that, he was an attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati. Mr. Oliver holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Haverford College, an M.S.E. in Computer and Information Science and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
