Coats and Bennett, PLLC, Hires New Associate for Growing IP Litigation Practice

Cary, NC -- Coats and Bennett, one of the most established intellectual property law boutiques in the Southeast, announced today the hire of Emily Haas, a recent Campbell Law School graduate and licensed attorney.
Haas is an associate in the litigation group at Coats and Bennett, focusing on cases involving patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, as well as related issues. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Campbell University, where she was the Coordinating Editor for the Campbell Law Review.
In 2006, she earned her Masters of Science in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated magna cum laude from Gettysburg College in 2004, majoring in chemistry and computer science and earning departmental honors for both.

Ms. Haas is admitted to practice in the state of North Carolina and is a member of the American Bar Association, where she is a member of the Trademark Litigation Committee.
