U.S. Patent Office Issues WindSpring Patent for Data Miniaturization Technology Processes

Patented Processes Provide Access to Miniaturized Data Without Requiring Decompression
San Jose, CA -- WindSpring, Inc., an advanced compression technology and software provider, today announced that it has been issued patent #7,185,018 B2, entitled "A Method for Storing and Retrieving Miniaturized Data," by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The patent relates to the company’s Data Miniaturization Technology (DMT) and the ability to create and access miniaturized data.

The company’s current portfolio now includes two issued patents and one allowed patent application all covering the processes which allow miniaturized data to be accessed, searched and edited while remaining in a miniaturized state.
