Provides Greater Protection for Semantic/Contextual Search Capabilities
Vancouver -- Frank Evanshen, CEO of WordLogic Corporation (OTCBB: WLGC), a developer of multiplatform predictive text software, announced today that the US Patent Office has allowed 14 new "computer readable medium claims" in addition to the initial 25 claims allowed by the Patent Office, as part of WordLogic's Patent Application No. 11/134,810 titled "Data Entry for Personal Computing Devices."
"This area of predictive text software developed and patented by WordLogic is designed to improve the productivity of text entry tasks," explains Mr. Evanshen. "This could include searches through any form of data base."

In September, WordLogic announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) had issued a Notice of Allowability for this same patent, which relates to "a framework for creating a data/centric text-input browser through its contextual search capabilities," explains WordLogic's Mr. Evanshen.
