Haynes and Boone Nabs Veteran IP Litigator Kenneth G. Parker

Orange County -- Haynes and Boone, LLP has added Kenneth G. Parker to its Orange County office as a litigation partner in the firm’s expanding intellectual property practice.
Mr. Parker is a seasoned litigator with more than 15 years experience representing clients inside California and beyond. His practice focuses on patent, trademark, copyright, trade secrets and complex business litigation. Mr. Parker is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer-review level for ethical standards and professional ability.
“Ken is an immensely experienced litigator with a track record that speaks for itself,” said David Harper, partner and chair of Haynes and Boone’s Intellectual Property Litigation Section. “His intricate knowledge of intellectual property law, coupled with his history in the California business market, will be a real boon to the practice and the firm’s clients.”
Mr. Parker was a founding partner of Teuton, Loewy & Parker, an Orange County litigation boutique with a strong emphasis on global intellectual property representation. While there, he earned significant first-chair jury trial experience in state and federal courts, grew his private practice and developed key relationships in intellectual property and technology markets.
From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Parker served as corporate counsel for IP litigation and enforcement for Callaway Golf Company, managing patent, trademark and trade secrets litigation worldwide. He also handled the litigation and enforcement program that produced record enforcement results for Callaway Golf Company.
Mr. Parker began his career as a litigation attorney at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from 1995 to 2001, handling patent, trademark, trade secret, fraud, breach of contract and software development litigation.
Mr. Parker graduated with high honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 1994, and was Vice Chancellor and Order of the Coif . He received a bachelors of business administration, cum laude, from Texas A&M University in 1991 with university honors recognition.
