Realization Awarded Patent for Concerto, Its Project Execution Management System
Tuesday, March 30, 2010
San Jose, CA -- Realization Technologies, a company dedicated to driving waste out of project execution, announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has awarded the company Patent No. 7,669,179 for Concerto, its project execution system. The patent was awarded for Concerto's unique ability to keep tasks synchronized across multiple departments and projects, even as uncertainties unfold in execution.
Traditional project management focuses on planning rather than execution, assuming a perfect world in which plans will not be disrupted by uncertainties. However, because uncertainties are the only certainty in the real world, the traditional approach simply cannot keep activities synchronized, which results in delays and skyrocketing costs.
"While projects executed traditionally are easily derailed and prolonged by uncertainties, Realization's system keeps projects moving forward toward a timely completion," said Sanjeev Gupta, CEO of Realization Technologies.
Miami patent attorney Mark Terry, Esq. filed and prosecuted the patent for Realization. Named inventors on the patent are Sanjeev Gupta, Dr. Ajai Kapoor, Corvin Bazgan, Prakash Pati, Rao Nimmakayala and Ravi Shankar -- all of whom are from Realization.
