Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. Receives Two Additional Patents For Magnesium Thiosulfate and Calcium Thiosulfate

Phoenix, AZ -- Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc., (TKI) announced today they have received two additional patents for products within their thiosulfate product range.
U.S. Patent # 7,686,963 B2 was issued for the use of magnesium thiosulfate as an ozone quencher and scrubber for use in potable water and waste water streams.
U.S. Patent # 7,494,525 for use of calcium thiosulfate as a urease inhibitor in an agricultural application to improve nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) of UAN and urea solutions when applied together in a concentrated zone.
Dr. Michael Hojjatie and TKI’s Research and Development Group were instrumental in the development and patenting of these applications for this thiosulfate range of products.
