Lando & Anastasi, LLP Names New Partner

Cambridge, MA -- Lando and Anastasi, LLP (L&A) today announced the election of Sarah M. Gates as a partner of the firm.
The Cambridge-based intellectual property law firm was recently listed as one of the largest IP firms in New England and is one of the fastest growing IP firms in the country. “This is an exciting year for our firm. We are launching a new website, which will incorporate our new brand and domain name, and we will be hiring new attorneys in several practice areas. Most importantly, we are proud of our newest partner, Sarah Gates,” noted Peter Lando, a partner of L&A. “Sarah is an expert in U.S. and international patent practice, and she has always been a major contributor to our firm and our clients,” added John Anastasi, a partner of L&A.
Ms. Gates was previously an associate at L&A and joined the firm at its inception in June 2003. She has extensive expertise in electrical engineering, including electromagnetics, antennas and communication systems. Sarah also has significant field experience as a hardware engineer, participating in both product design and technical support.
She has broad experience in all aspects of intellectual property prosecution, counseling, and transactions. Sarah has also been repeatedly named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer “Rising Star” by Law & Politics magazine. She graduated from Suffolk University School of Law, magna cum laude, and received a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in electrical engineering from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and a Master of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
