United Sates Patent and Trademark Office Issues Foundational Internet Technology Patent to Audio Eye, Inc.

The Invention Represents Rare “New Ground” in the Field of Foundational Internet Communication Technology
New York, NY -- CMG Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGO), announced that Audio Eye, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CMGO was awarded its first patent entitled “Method and Apparatus for Website Navigation by the Visually Impaired” and now has three additional patents pending. The newly issued patent provides protection of an Invention that enables Internet navigation and breakthrough Multi-Format publishing capabilities. Moreover, the newly allowed patent is a long awaited milestone and will be foundational in Audio Eye’s mission to become the standard for Internet Accessibility, Mobile audio Internet navigation and Multi-Format Publishing technology.
The new patent, entitled “Method and Apparatus for Website Navigation by the Visually Impaired” US patent # 7,653,544 was issued to Audio Eye, Inc. on January 29, 2010. Management has invoked a proactive assessment and valuation process that includes an initial comprehensive look at suspected infringement from organizations that have entered the Internet marketplace with devices and Internet product lines that are symptomatic of infringement upon Audio Eye’s patented technology. After receiving the patent Audio Eye management immediately filed an application with newly added claims that further defines embodiments of the invention and has obtained International filings now available for prosecution.
The establishment of a comprehensive licensing strategy is underway and partners for both legal and technical resources are under review by Audio Eye’s board of directors. Content Delivery Networks (CDN), Website Developers, and Government Internet communications providers are targeted both for product distribution and licensing activities by Audio Eye.
Audio Eye continues to pursue patent applications under a family of patents entitled “System and Method for Audible Web Site Navigation” filed in March of 2007 which includes additional mobile phone and breakthrough Really Simple Syndication (RSS) audio publishing capabilities. The company anticipates issuance of this patent in 2010.
