Prominent Licensing Executive and HTS Form Unique IP Licensing Management Organization

Atlanta, GA -- Jeffery Carter, President of HighTech Solutions of Colorado Springs and Derek J. Nuhn, former Vice President at WiLAN Inc. and Semiconductor Insights of Ottawa, Canada, today announced the formation of HTS LLC, a full service Licensing Management and Technical Patent Consultancy. HTS will provide its corporate counsel and law firm clients with full licensing program services, including strategic portfolio evaluation, expert technical patent evaluation, licensing based financial modeling and consultation, intellectual property commercialization, and patent brokerage support.
With more than 30 seasoned industry veterans, HTS is positioned to become the premier licensing consultancy in the industry. The unique HTS network business model promotes the most cost effective method of working with clients’ legal teams to drive up the return on licensing programs while driving down costs, resolving outstanding litigation and infringement issues, and helping clients fully realize the financial value of their patent assets and license agreements.
HTS LLC will be at the IPO Annual Meeting in Atlanta from Sept 12 to 14th, and at the LES Annual meeting in Chicago September 26-29th.

Jeffery Carter has more than 15 years experience in technology and intellectual property, including Program Manager of Motorola’s Semiconductor Product Sector Intellectual Property Department.
Derek Nuhn has 25 years experience in technology and as a licensing executive, including 12 years at Semiconductor Insights with clients such as Texas Instruments, Motorola, Agere, Intel and 47 of the world’s top 50 technology companies across the USA, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Europe. Most recently Derek was head of the very successful telecommunications licensing program at WiLAN Inc.
