Neways Receives Its First U.S. Patent for Noni Product

Springville, UT -- As the culmination of several years of scientific and legal work, Neways was awarded U.S. patent number 7,749,535 on July 6, 2010. Granted for “Compositions and Methods Using Morinda Citrifolia,” this patent is the company’s first-ever U.S. patent, further demonstrating the strength of Neways’ commitment to research and development.

The new patent protects Neways’ pioneering process of combining noni fruit (Morinda citrifolia) with a Chinese fruit called luo han guo. In addition to providing health benefits, luo han guo naturally sweetens the noni and the aseptic manufacturing process extends the fruit blend’s shelf life without use of artificial preservatives.
