Spectrum Receives Notice of Allowance for Its Continuous Refractory Ore Bio-Processing Apparatus

Friday, October 08, 2010

Austin, TX -- Spectrum Acquisition Holdings, Inc. (PINK SHEETS: SPAH), a growing mining exploration, technology and services organization, has just received a Notice of Allowance for its Continuous Refractory Ore Bio-Processing Apparatus from the US Patent Office.

According to Spectrum’s Registered Patent Attorney, “The Patent Examiner has allowed the patent application such that only formalities should remain to acquire an issued patent.”

Spectrum Acquisition Holdings CEO Dale Henry comments, “We are very pleased to announce the Notice of Allowance for our Continuous Ore Bio-Processing Apparatus, as it has been in progress for several years. We expect a formal patent to be issued shortly. The Bio-Processing apparatus diminishes harmful chemicals produced by waste through monitoring of the gasification and digestion of metal ore using bacteria in a controlled agitation tank. With this technology we can monitor the oxygen and carbon dioxide levels. This substitutes harmful chemicals once used for leaching; therefore, increasing productivity and creating a safer and greener environment.”

Spectrum CEO Dale Henry continues, “The applications for our Bio-Processing apparatus are numerous. While the invention is not limited to use with gold ore, it is expected that various embodiments of the invention will be particularly useful in other mixing activities. This is another positive step for Spectrum, as we are providing better means of 'green' mining exploration and technology that could hopefully help create a smaller footprint and environmental impact to the mining industry.”
