Chicago, IL -- Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLC partner Paul B. Stephens spoke at the Practising Law Institute’s 2010 Patent Litigation Conference on October 14-15 in Chicago. Stephens’s program, entitled “Parallel Patent Reexaminations,” analyzed the strategic considerations of whether or not to seek reexaminations of patents, as well as the effects of reexamination on litigation.
“In a world with rapid flows of information and fast-paced changes and even quicker decision-making, it’s essential to recognize the changing face of patent law in order to successfully litigate on behalf of clients,” said Stephens. “I am honored to have been a presenter at the Patent Litigation conference and to have had the opportunity to assist all patent attorneys with new topics and analyses that affect our everyday practice.”
