Exploration Orbite Deposes a Patent Application for its Unique Aluminium Extraction Process Technology

Thursday, June 21, 2007

Montreal, Quebec -- Exploration Orbite VSPA Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ORT.A) has deposited a patent application with the US Patent Office (USPO) related to the process developed for the extraction and purification of very high purity aluminum and alumina form alumina clays such as those of Orbite's Grande-Vallee site in the Gaspe Peninsula.

'We have, as patent agents, deposited an application for a US patent regarding the highly innovative and promising aluminum extraction process developed by Orbite and the CEPROCQ' quoted James Anglehart partner at Bereskin & Parr. This novel process enables a cost effective production of high purity aluminum and alumina. The high costs of processing, prior to the development of this technology, were simply daunting. The Process was developed in close cooperation with the experts of the Centre d'etudes des procedes chimiques du Quebec (CEPROCQ) in Montreal.

'We are especially proud of the achievements realized with the CEPROCQ. We cross today a significant landmark on the way to making of the Grande-Vallee project a reality and a success'. A second patent application is planned for the coming months.

Exploration Orbite VSPA Inc. owns 100% of the mining rights of the Grande-Vallee property, an alumina clay deposit representing a surface area of approximately 2,300 hectares located 32 km North-East of Murdochville, in the Gaspe peninsula.
