StrikeForce Technologies, Inc. Receives Notice of Allowance From the United States Patent Office

Edison, NJ -- StrikeForce Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: SFOR), a company that specializes in the prevention of Identity Theft, announced today that the United States Patent Office has issued an official Notice of Allowance for its patent application titled "Multi-Channel Device Utilizing A Centralized Out-of-Band Authentication System."

"We are very pleased that the Patent Office has determined that all of the thirty-four (34) claims in our patent application have been accepted," says Mark L. Kay, CEO of StrikeForce. "Of all the accepted claims, we are especially excited about the below listed ones because businesses, consumers, government agencies, social networking websites and regulatory agencies have accepted these as the defacto-standard methods for authentication":

Out-of-Band authentication using the phone as an authentication device
Out-of-Band authentication for accessing corporate networks and web sites
Authentication methods that use passwords / pins / sms, voice or one-time-passwords in conjunction with a phone
Biometric authentication methods such as voice verification and fingerprint verification

ProtectID® is an "Out-of-Band" multichannel and multi-factor authentication platform designed to authenticate individuals & employees, and/or authorize transactions in real-time. ProtectID can be accessed through many types of environments i.e. remote access (VPN), domain access, website access, risk-mitigation and transaction based systems.
