Protext Mobility Updates Intellectual Property Portfolio and Readies AmberWatch SafeText for Commercial Service Launch

Syosset, NY -- Protext Mobility, Inc. (OTC.BB: TXTM), a developer of innovative messaging applications and solutions for the mobile communication market, today announced the Company has bolstered its intellectual property portfolio in advance of its commercial service launch of AmberWatch® SafeText. The intellectual property filing, patent application #13016848, covers key components of the Company’s core technology.
“As Protext Mobility pursues immediate opportunities within the mobile messaging marketplace our core intellectual property, referred to as Smart Message Analyzer, will allow us to bring new and innovative solutions to market. Our ability to analyze and contextualize mobile messaging (i.e. text) data-streams is an integral part of the upcoming commercial launch of the AmberWatch® SafeText parental monitoring solution,” commented Peter Charles, Chief Operating Officer of Protext Mobility. “The solution is offered for a network-based and a device-based environment, ensuring both Mobile Carrier and Direct-to-Consumer opportunities.”
AmberWatch® SafeText has been operating in private beta for the past six weeks and will launch commercially in the current calendar month. AmberWatch® SafeText is available for ANDROID devices, with subsequent device platforms, such as Blackberry, to follow shortly.

Notably, text messaging continues to be a high growth segment within the mobile messaging space as teenagers send on average over 3,300 text messages per month (Source: The Nielsen Company). The latest results from UK-based Informa Telecoms & Media indicate mobile text messaging traffic reached five trillion messages annually by the close of 2010 and forecast the number of text messages to reach 8.7 trillion messages annually by 2015.
