ADAPTIX Awarded a Flurry of New 4G Patents in 2011

Early developer of OFDMA technology enjoys rapid growth in patent awards
Carrollton, TX -- ADAPTIX Inc., a pioneer in the development of orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) technology and other related 4G broadband wireless technologies, announced today that it has been issued ten new patents with another ten patents allowed to date in 2011. The newly-issued and allowed patents cover a range of 4G innovations including methods for OFDMA subcarrier allocation, advanced power control techniques, base station coordination, interference mitigation and multi-antenna technologies. This most recent set of patents brings the total issued and pending patents in the ADAPTIX 4G portfolio to more than 225 worldwide.

The newly-issued and allowed patents include global coverage, with nine in the U.S., and the rest in Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Israel, Mexico and Taiwan.
