BioElectronics Announces European Patent Issuance

Frederick, MD -- BioElectronics Corporation (otc-pink:BIEL), the maker of disposable, inexpensive drug-free topical pain and healing devices, today announced that the European Patent Convention has issued Patent Certificate Number 1606010 for its unique Electromagnetic Therapy Device and methods.

The patent covers the design, firmware, affixing methods and the manufacture of the device's single antenna, lower profile switch and encapsulation of a self-contained disposable electromagnetic therapy device for therapeutic and prophylactic application.

"This patent protects our technology in both the manufacturing and future product sales in Europe, in addition to our relentless manufacturing cost reductions, constant innovations in design and our aggressive disruptive pricing strategy," commented John Martinez, Director of Engineering.

Additionally, BIEL has received an Official Notice from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office of acceptance of its patent application for its Insole Electromagnetic Therapy Device.
