NAPP Announces New Slate of Officers

The National Association of Patent Practitioners (NAPP – held its 11th annual meeting, short course and conference at the Monte Carlo Hotel in Las Vegas, NV on July 15-18, 2007. Classes, lectures and presentations were presented by patent practitioners, and representatives of law firms, academia, industry and the USPTO.

The following slate of officers were elected at the annual meeting:

  • Ron Reardon was elected President for the coming term. Ron is a registered patent agent in solo practice in the Atlanta, GA area. Ron has a BS in Physics and Mathematics and an Executive MBA and specializes in practice representing individual inventors and small companies.
  • Sean Brennan was elected Vice President. Sean has a Ph.D. in Biology and is a registered patent agent specializing in biotechnology and working as a solo practitioner in the San Francisco Bay area.
  • Stan Antolin was elected Secretary. Stan is a registered patent attorney employed by Smith Moore Law in Greensboro, NC. Stan has a BS in materials Engineering and an MS in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science.
  • Jerry Miller was elected Treasurer. Jerry has a BS and Masters in Electrical Engineering and is a registered patent agent in solo practice in Raleigh, NC. Jerry represents clients of all sizes specializing in electrical, software, computer and mechanical technologies.

The NAPP is a growing non-profit organization of patent attorneys and patent agents and those working in the patent field, organized in 1996. The NAPP is dedicated to supporting its members in matters relevant to patent law and technology advances.
