Intellectual Property Client Protection Enhanced by Technical Expertise
Pasadena, CA –. Robert Rose, a shareholder at the intellectual property law firm of Sheldon Mak Rose & Anderson PC, was elevated to the prestigious category of Senior Member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), among the world’s largest professional associations for the advancement of technology. This follows Mr. Rose’s recent completion of his second post-graduate degree – a Master’s degree in Imaging Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) based in New York.

The qualifications for being named a Senior Member are rigorous: 10 years of educational or professional experience; five years of consistent career growth and performance; and references from other Senior Members or above.
At RIT, Mr. Rose studied ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging, particularly focusing on methods for segmenting nerves in ultrasound images during guided anesthesia. Prior to that, he earned a Juris Doctorate degree with high distinction from the University of Arizona, where he is now Chairman of the Physics Advisory Board and serves on the Dean’s Board of Advisors for the College of Science.
