John ’’Jay’’ N. Coulby III Joins Quarles & Brady’s Intellectual Property Practice Group

The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that John "Jay" N. Coulby III has joined the firm's Washington, D.C. office as a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Prior to joining Quarles & Brady, Jay was previously a partner at a well-known D.C. firm and served as a molecular biologist at a major pharmaceutical company. He has experience working with both the government and private industry. Jay's practice areas include the preparation and prosecution of patents in the life sciences, patent counseling, and strategic planning, as well as handling a variety of litigation matters for clients.
Jay earned his law degree from Widener University School of Law, his master's degree in biology from The Catholic University of America, and his bachelor's degree from Washington College.
