Donald P. Dinella Joins Wolff & Samsonís Intellectual Property Group

Wolff & Samson PC is pleased to announce that Donald P. Dinella has joined the firm as Counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group.

“Don brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in intellectual property commercialization and management to our growing and robust team,” said Jeffrey Weinick, a co-chair of Wolff & Samson’s Intellectual Property Group. “We are pleased to welcome him to the firm.”

Mr. Dinella’s extensive experience includes patent prosecution across a broad range of technological fields, patent portfolio management, licensing, IP commercialization, IP strategy, and transactional services.

“I am thrilled to have joined Wolff & Samson, and its growing Intellectual Property group,” said Mr. Dinella. “The firm’s outstanding reputation speaks for itself and I am especially fortunate to be joining such a distinguished group of attorneys.”

With more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Dinella joins Wolff & Samson after serving as Chief Licensing Officer and Chief Licensing Counsel at InterDigital Communications. Previously, he served in various roles at Alcatel-Lucent for nearly 20 years, including Chief IP Counsel & VP, IP Global Operations.

Mr. Dinella is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He earned his J.D. from the Seton Hall University School of Law, an M.S. in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology, an M.S. in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from Brigham Young University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
