Acacia Subsidiary Enters into Settlement Agreement with Media5 Corporation and Mediatrix Telecom, Inc.

Newport Beach, CA -- Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTG) announced today that its subsidiary Network Gateway Solutions LLC has entered into a settlement agreement with Media5 Corporation (including its division Mediatrix Telecom). This agreement resolves patent litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
