US Trade Rep. Ronald Kirk, and Chairman John Conyers to Speak at World Intellectual Property Day on April 26

The American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) is honored to co-sponsor, along with the US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the 2010 World Intellectual Property Day, Protecting Tomorrow: IP and Green Technology, on Monday, April 26th from 2:30 to 5:30 pm in the Gold Room, Rayburn House Office Building. US Trade Representative Ambassador Ronald Kirk and Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. John Conyers (D, MI) will speak at the event, which will also feature Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and USPTO Director David Kappos, Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Francisco Sanchez, WIPO Deputy Director General James Pooley, and AIPLA Executive Director Q. Todd Dickinson.

The 2010 World IP Day will focus on green technology and feature, Green Technology in Action!, a display of some of the latest advances in green technology by 3M Company, Becton Dickinson & Company, and Hewlett-Packard Company.
