Ulmer & Berne Adds Depth to its Intellectual Property Practice with Addition of Michael P. Sherban

Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to announce that Michael P. Sherban has joined as an associate in the firm’s Cleveland office. Mr. Sherban brings depth to the Intellectual Property & Technology practice, consisting of 19 patent attorneys and two patent agents.

A licensed patent attorney, Mr. Sherban’s practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law, including patent litigation and prosecution, trademark litigation, copyright litigation, and intellectual property licensing. He also has experience with complex litigation and dispute resolution concerning contracts and other business transactions and relationships. Mr. Sherban’s experience, coupled with his manufacturing engineering degree and previous experience as a consultant for both Anderson Consulting and IBM, allow him to bring a practical perspective to clients.

Mr. Sherban has been named to the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars list and is involved in the local community. He is currently a board member of the Cleveland Sight Center and member of the Avon Lake Planning Commission. Mr. Sherban earned his B.S. in manufacturing engineering from Miami University, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
