Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. Adds Paul C. Gibbons to IP Litigation Group

Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. is pleased to announce that Paul C. Gibbons has joined the firm’s Boston office as a partner in the firm’s IP Litigation Group.

Mr. Gibbons, previously a shareholder with Niro, Haller & Niro, focuses his practice primarily on patent litigation, but also copyright, trademark, trade secret and trade dress litigation. He also counsels and helps his clients enforce their intellectual property rights through negotiation, mediation, and licensing.

He has experience in a wide range of complex technologies, including printers, televisions, radios, toys, audio/video and broadcast technology, electronics, SCSI technology, cell phones, power tools, genetic formulae, household products, dental implants, athletic footwear, cell phones, video surveillance technology, and automotive technology.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Gibbons worked for GE Aerospace, GE Aircraft Engines and GE Industrial and Power Systems, completing and graduating from General Electric's world-class MMP training program. He also was a co-op on the technical staff of The Mitre Corporation.

He is a member of the bars of the State of Illinois and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Paul is an accomplished trial lawyer who litigates cases in both state and federal courts.

He received his J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
