CPA Global Appoints Alasdair Marnoch as Chief Financial Officer
Thursday, December 12, 2013
CPA Global, the world's leading provider of intellectual property management software and services, has appointed Alasdair Marnoch as Chief Financial Officer.
Marnoch is a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee for the UK Post Office - roles that he took on when the Post Office was formally split from the Royal Mail Group in April 2012.
He joins CPA Global from Iris Software Group, one of the UK’s leading accountancy and payroll software companies, where he was Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, Marnoch was Group Finance Director with Xafinity Group, the UK’s leading specialists in pensions and employee benefits. When the company was acquired by private equity firm Advent International in 2010 to merge with administration and payments solutions provider Equiniti, Marnoch was appointed Group Finance Director of the combined Equiniti business.
Marnoch, who has also held senior financial roles with Jarvis plc, Dunlop Slazenger Group (DSG), and Thames Water plc, will be a member of CPA Global’s Board of Directors and Executive Management Committee. He succeeds CPA Global’s current Chief Financial Officer, Bill Fagan, who is retiring at the end of December.
Commenting on the appointment, CPA Global Chief Executive Officer Peter Sewell said: “We are delighted to appoint Alasdair Marnoch as our new Chief Financial Officer. Alasdair has many years of experience working in senior financial roles with both publically listed and private companies, playing a key role at Board level in supporting business growth. He has also been involved in private equity sales and mergers and acquisitions, creating substantial value for the companies concerned.”
