Alston & Bird Boosts Los Angeles Intellectual Property Practice

Alston & Bird LLP today announced that experienced transactional attorney Daniel Gerst has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as counsel. Gerst previously served as senior counsel for Hilton Worldwide, Inc., where he counseled the hotel giant’s multiple brands. His practice focuses on intellectual property transactions involving brand management, strategic alliances, technology, advertising and marketing, and media, and he provides counseling and strategic advice to clients that range from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. Gerst brings over two decades of in-house counsel experience on behalf of both agencies and brands, and he has counseled clients in a variety of industries, including advertising, hospitality, media and entertainment, food and beverage, sports, and information technology.
