Three Associates Join Armstrong Teasdale’s Missouri Offices

Armstrong Teasdale announces the additions of the following associates to its Missouri offices: Sarah B. Markenson, Eric Poland and Daniel C. Willingham.

Sarah B. Markenson, a member of Armstrong Teasdale’s Financial & Real Estate Services practice group, joins the St. Louis office. Her practice encompasses working with public sector clients, small manufacturers, non-profit organizations, investment banking firms and banks on projects involving development and financing incentives, redevelopment, tax increments and special purpose districts.

Markenson earned her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law, and M.P.A. and B.A., magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University. She is admitted to practice in Missouri and is a member of the American Bar Association, The Missouri Bar and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.

Eric Poland, a member of Armstrong Teasdale’s Intellectual Property practice group, joins the Kansas City office. His practice encompasses preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications. In this work, he guides clients through initial patent infringement analyses and invalidity opinions, providing tailored enforcement procedures.

Poland earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law and B.S., cum laude, from Iowa State University. He is admitted to practice in Missouri, before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

Daniel C. Willingham, a member of Armstrong Teasdale’s Corporate Services practice group, joins the St. Louis office. His practice encompasses helping individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations comply with statutes and regulations in federal, state and local banking and tax codes. His experience includes the negotiation, documentation and closing of new markets and historic rehabilitation tax credits, as well as other public incentive financing transactions.

Willingham earned his LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University School of Law, J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law and B.A., with honors, from the University of Missouri. He is admitted to practice in Missouri and is a member of The Missouri Bar and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
