Merchant & Gould Welcomes Attorney Mary Bram to Washington, D.C. Area Office

Merchant & Gould, a leading intellectual property law firm, announced today that attorney Mary Bram has joined its Washington, D.C. area office. Bram focuses on patent prosecution in chemical and chemical engineering technologies.

Bram previously worked as an associate at Crowell & Moring LLP in Washington, D.C., focusing on patent prosecution, representing large and small corporate entities, as well as universities. Her background also includes various appeals before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Board of Patent Appeals and Interfaces.

Bram received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Washington School of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science.

“Mary’s expertise in chemicals and chemical engineering is a perfect fit for our strategic growth plans,” said Joe Gess, managing partner of the Washington, D.C. area office of Merchant & Gould. “She is a welcomed addition to our office.”

Bram began working at Merchant & Gould August 6.
