Electrical Engineer Joins Patent Law Firm
Garden City, NY -- Scully, Scott, Murphy & Presser, a leading Intellectual Property Law firm, has announced that Matthew Tropper, an Electrical Engineer, has joined the firm as an Associate. Prior to joining Scully Scott, he was an Associate at law firm Greenberg Traurig in Manhattan, New York. Tropper is a resident of Plainview, New York.

Tropper will practice in all aspects of preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the U.S. and worldwide, as well as assist in client counseling, clearance opinions and technical claim construction matters. His fields of expertise include computers, telecommunications, networking, software, consumer devices, Internet shopping, lottery systems, business methods and medical devices.
Tropper received his B.S.E.E. from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he received honors for his Major Qualifying Project, and his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School, where he was invited onto Law Review.
Tropper is admitted to the New York Bar and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
