Katherine Bandy Weber Joins Wilson Elser’s Dallas Office

Of Counsel Bolsters Firm’s National IP Practice
National law firm Wilson Elser is pleased to announce that intellectual property attorney Katherine Bandy Weber has joined the firm’s Dallas office as of counsel. Ms. Weber marks the 39th lateral to have joined the firm since January of last year.
“Katie is a great addition to both the Dallas office and the national intellectual property practice,” shared Stratton Horres, regional managing partner of Wilson Elser’s Dallas office and the partner in charge of lateral hiring. “Her experience in both IP and other areas of commercial litigation bolsters the firm’s non-insurance, corporate business – a continually growing sector in Wilson Elser’s extensive portfolio of service areas.”
Named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, Ms. Weber has a diverse background in commercial matters, including breach of distribution agreements, service contract disputes and real estate disputes. She also has extensive experience with trade secret disputes in the oil and gas, telecommunications, cosmetics and home appliance industries. In addition, she counsels clients on risk and litigation avoidance.
Ms. Weber is an active member of the legal community, as a leader and as a member of several bar associations including: Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Foundation, Dallas Women Lawyers Association and the Dallas Bar Association. She is also admitted as a Barrister Member of the Patrick E. Higginbotham Inn of Court.
Ms. Weber graduated cum laude with her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Law School (2004) and earned and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin (1999).
